Founded in July of 1997 in River Rouge, Michigan, Great Lakes Rail Car Repair Services Inc., has been dedicated to helping customers, loading docks, and the national multilevel M&R Pool. GLRCRS is a freight car repair facility that receives bad order freight cars and auto racks always serviced in a timely manner. This service is provided through an experienced workforce that follows rules and procedures dictated by:

Manufacturers of freight car and auto rack components

Handling railroads
GLRCRS is capable of performing the majority of repairs listed in the AAR Field Manual of Interchange Rules – with the exceptions being of those pertaining to tank cars.
